Another thing I love is baking. I spent a good portion of our winter break baking all sorts of festive treats.
Sean’s favorite Christmas treat is Peppermint Bark which his mom makes for him. She gave him a big bowl for his birthday on December 10th and then another batch on Christmas. I’ve never been a huge peppermint fan. I like the occasional candy cane, but I really need to be in the mood for it. However, I tried a piece (or 3!) of the Peppermint Bark and loved it. So I decided to try to turn the idea of Peppermint Bark into a cupcake.
Behold, the best chocolate cupcake ever with Peppermint Swiss Meringue Butter Cream. It was heavenly. And it’s my inspiration for today’s color palette.
