Author Julia London and her two author friends Kathleen Givens and Sherri Browning wanted to move their existing blog off of blogger.com and into something a little more user-friendly and versatile. Immediately, ExpressionEngine became the clear choice of Content Management Systems. I created the design of Whine Sisters based on info supplied by Julia. They wanted something fun and lighthearted that utilized a “whine/wine” theme.
The site was built using a modular structure, so that each contributor can update their recently published books as well as what they are reading and listening too. We also used the EE Poll module, which allows them to easily add fun polls to their site.
