Hey! You found our blog. This is where we post updates about what's going on at Emtwo (vacations, news, schedule updates). We also write about what's going on in our lives as well as cool sites we visit or fun tips and tricks we find around the internet. We're not a "specialty" blog focusing on any one subject or category. We like to keep things open, fun and light. We hope you'll stick around and share your thoughts with us.

*masters* I just have to take a moment to write about CSS Mastery, a new book that landed on my desk yesterday.  After just a few moments of flipping through this book, I have fallen in love.  in love, I say...and I haven’t even gotten into the juicy bits yet.

I’ve always been a big fan of CSS and when I saw that this book was coming out, I immediately knew that it was something I wanted to look into further.  If only I knew sooner...this book ROCKS!! I would have pre-ordered it if I had only know wink

This book totally confirms things I already knew about CSS, and it also has me thinking about changes in my process and how I can be more efficient with my code.  In addition there are some new (to me) amazing techniques that I have yet to try.  I am so excited about all the possibilities.

I was thinking that my husband was going to be the one who really benefited the most from this book, since he’s learning XHTML and CSS right now, but I am pleasantly surprised about all the things I can learn and fine tune, as well.  If you are a designer or web developer, you can not go wrong with this book!  Get your copy today!  I swear you will be glad you did.

I told you that you’d love it.  It rules the school.  I really enjoyed Andy Budd at SXSW.

I wish I could have made it to SXSW, but I’m looking forward to listening to all the podcasts from this year, as they are released.  Maybe next year I’ll make it!

*starts planning now*

I love this book, too. It inspired me to redesign my whole business site. Relaunch countdown at -5...4...3…

It’s the best book on CSS I’ve used. And the section on layout is the clearest I’ve read.

I wrote to Andy and told him he’s the bomb. His co-authors are pretty damn good designers too, especially that CameronMoll. Check out his site, he’s got some great tricks for you.
