It’s true, it’s true. We bought a house, we picked out the lot and we are officially homeowners. All in one day. In a very emotional and exciting day.
This here is the land we picked out. It’s more deep than it is wide, which is alright, since we want to get a swimming pool and do other things to the backyard. We have the room!
We are totally happy that we got some wooded land. There is a small tiny little creek that runs along some land about 200 feet down from us, however they haven’t gotten access to that land yet, so we couldn’t pick it. Than on second thought, we remembered mosquitoes. That wouldn’t be fun!
This next image is the outside of the house model we chose. One in the darker brick, which is simply stunning in real life. It pops! And than one of the lighter brick, which Sean loves. And I’m starting to like.
We get to choose all the options (brick color, vinyl, interior paint, fixtures, etc. etc) when we go to our design appointment, which is currently scheduled for April 9th. Which is totally in less than 2 weeks!
eeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!! 
Right now they are telling us that it should all be ready by August. I’m estimating closer to 6 months from now though. A lot of people we talked to who had homes built said it usually runs longer, which is alright. We’ve waited this long, what’s another month or two.
So, our heads are spinning and we’ve never been happier. But, if I thought planning a wedding involved lots of decisions. That doesn’t even come close to this!
