Over the past six years, Sean and I have supported a wonderful internet charity called The Blogger Boobie-Thon and we’re doing it again this year!
The Blogger Boobie-Thon is held the first week of October and during that time, bloggers (both women and men) send in photos of their boobies (covered and bare) to help raise money for Breast Cancer Research.
Last year, I adopted the Boobie-Thon from the original founder and got my first taste at running an internet charity. I, along with a slew of wonderful and caring volunteers, raised $5,666.00 for Breast Cancer Research. Since 2002, The Blogger Boobie-thon has raised over $40,000.00 and we hope to continue adding to that total this year.
I just put out a call for 2008 Boobie-Thon Volunteers and I hope that you will consider donating your time or when the time comes, you money to a great cause. Also, feel free to pass on the news via your blog, flickr, twitter, wherever! We could use all the help we can get.
Thank you!

Ohhh how I love the holidays. And they are quickly approaching. I remember a time when I used to create 2 or 3 different blog designs just for my own blog during the season. The good old days…how things have changed. But, I still love creating holiday blog designs and since the holidays are all about giving, we decided to give away one free holiday themed blog design.
How to enter:
First, enter your email address in the box on the sidebar under “FREE HOLIDAY BLOG DESIGN!” Your email address will be placed in a random drawing. The winner will be chosen on November 26, 2007 and will have their holiday themed blog design installed by December 9, 2007.
The rules:
- This contest is open to personal blogs only. Sorry no business blogs or websites.
- The winner gets a custom design based on their own specifications, but it must have a winter holiday theme.
- This contest will run through Midnight on November 25, 2007 - Eastern Standard Time.
- One random winner will be chosen by Melissa and Sean.
- Winners will be announced on Monday November 26, 2007.
- Blog design will be installed into your existing blog software. If you have skinning enabled on your blog we will install the new design as a skin, if you do not have skinning installed, this design will replace your current design on your blog.
- Blog design includes the main page, comments/trackback pages, archives/category pages, contact page, about page (if applicable)

For almost a year, I have been running things here at Emtwo and it has been a lot of work. And I’m not complaining about that at all
Somewhere around May/June 2006, I realized that doing this alone would not serve my clients well at all. I needed to be able to run this business and have something left over for my family at the end of the day. After sitting down and realizing how much incoming work there was, there was really one very logical choice to make.
My husband Sean has always been interested in building websites for a long time and here I was, in a position to make that happen. So he picked up a few of the books that I used to learn web development and spent a lot of him time neck deep in XHTML and CSS. We are now finally at a point where he can take on a position as a web developer.
He will be working directly with clients during the coding phase of their sites. While I will continue to do all the design work and help him with any coding or site maintenance, that is required. We are a strong team outside of work and that dynamic filters over into our business as well. We are both hard working individuals with a strong drive and desire to succeed and make our clients happy and successful with their sites.
We are still the same Emtwo as before, yet stronger, more efficient and capable of taking on more projects. We thank you all for your continued support and we look forward to working on some very exciting projects in the New Year.

Microsoft released Internet Explorer 7. This is a major update with tons of features and bug fixes. You can choose to download and install it now, or in a few weeks, you will find that it will be included in an automatic update. (I say go now, for it is never too early to get rid of IE6!)
While this release does not include complete CSS support (compared to other browsers out there), it is definitely a good step in the right direction. I’m looking forward to working with it and seeing how things progress, but don’t think I’ll leave Firefox in the dust. My love for Firefox is strong and I have ever intention on keeping Firefox as my default browser. And hey, there’s still Firefox 2.0 to look forward to!

I thought something was broken and it is. Email!
If you have sent me an email in the last few days, they seem to be SLOWING filtering in now. I hope this continues. There was some sort of server hiccup and things were diverted and rerouted and some other thing that I don’t really care about. Anyway, I’m slowing going through everything and I will reply soon. Very soon!
Thank you for your patience.
