I’ve been waiting for this to get released and I am so happy for Joelle and Kathy. They did an amazing job. The good folks at Mozilla released Thunderbird 2.0 a few weeks back, but we’ve been a little slow on upgrading all our computers. However, today is the day!
There are quite a few new features (advanced folder views, message tagging) and some updates to existing features (improved search, better junk mail filtering) that we are looking forward to playing around with. If you haven’t tried Thunderbird yet, give it a whirl. It’s free and in our opinion, far better than Outlook
