Our vacation was wonderful and something we really needed. We spent a lot of our days soaking up all the Georgia sun and fresh air. I can’t wait to go back again next year.
Now that we are back, we will be feverishly trying to catch up with all our email, finishing off our 2006 projects and working on our New Year Schedule.
Thank you all for your patience while we catch-up and slip out of vacation-mode.

For almost a year, I have been running things here at Emtwo and it has been a lot of work. And I’m not complaining about that at all
Somewhere around May/June 2006, I realized that doing this alone would not serve my clients well at all. I needed to be able to run this business and have something left over for my family at the end of the day. After sitting down and realizing how much incoming work there was, there was really one very logical choice to make.
My husband Sean has always been interested in building websites for a long time and here I was, in a position to make that happen. So he picked up a few of the books that I used to learn web development and spent a lot of him time neck deep in XHTML and CSS. We are now finally at a point where he can take on a position as a web developer.
He will be working directly with clients during the coding phase of their sites. While I will continue to do all the design work and help him with any coding or site maintenance, that is required. We are a strong team outside of work and that dynamic filters over into our business as well. We are both hard working individuals with a strong drive and desire to succeed and make our clients happy and successful with their sites.
We are still the same Emtwo as before, yet stronger, more efficient and capable of taking on more projects. We thank you all for your continued support and we look forward to working on some very exciting projects in the New Year.

I’m busy coding up a multitude of sites these next few days before we jet off to the south. I can’t believe our vacation is so close and yet still so much to take care of. I probably work the very best under pressure, so I’m feeling really good about where I’m at. And also where I’ll be at the end of this week!
Since I won’t be around later this week, I thought I would take a moment today to reflect on all the good stuff in my life. I was going to list it out, but there is just too much to list and for that, I am probably most thankful.
I hope you all have a wonderful holiday and you are surrounded by those that make you the happiest!!
Happy Thanksgiving!!

I just wanted to quickly update my current schedule for the rest of this year.
First, Sean and I will be heading off on our yearly vacation to South Carolina country. We’ll be gone from November 22, 2006 to December 10, 2006. I will have limited access to the internet and will only be checking in on occasion during this time. Since we both generally work 60-80 hours each in any given week, this vacation is really important and one that we really deserve! We had a blast last year and I am sure this year will be as equally wonderful!
Also, at this time I am no longer accepting any work for 2006. My schedule does have some openings in January but the spots are filling faster than I could have even hoped for. So, if you have a project that you would like to discuss, please get in touch.
Thank you to all of my clients who have made this year so much fun and so successful! I appreciate every single one of you

Microsoft released Internet Explorer 7. This is a major update with tons of features and bug fixes. You can choose to download and install it now, or in a few weeks, you will find that it will be included in an automatic update. (I say go now, for it is never too early to get rid of IE6!)
While this release does not include complete CSS support (compared to other browsers out there), it is definitely a good step in the right direction. I’m looking forward to working with it and seeing how things progress, but don’t think I’ll leave Firefox in the dust. My love for Firefox is strong and I have ever intention on keeping Firefox as my default browser. And hey, there’s still Firefox 2.0 to look forward to!
