The fabulously talented folks behind ExpressionEngine went through an entire re-branding, leaving pmachine in the dust and launching an all new and quite spiffy looking Ellislab!
Why the name change? pMachine was an outgrowth of our first, and at that time (six years ago), only product. Both our company and software were pMachine. A couple years later we released ExpressionEngine, which addressed some serious limitations of pMachine. EE essentially made pM (the software) obsolete. Our users agreed, switching to EE in droves and eventually compelling us to discontinue pM due to low sales. Still, our company continued on as pMachine. [Source]
Congratulations to all the fine people at Ellislab. I simply can not wait to see the other great things they will be working on in the future!

We shout from the rooftops about how much we love EE all the time. But not only do we love EE, we also really love some of the great folks who create awesome modules for EE and than share them with the rest of us.
My absolute favorite module right this very second is Favorites!! We’ll be launching a site shortly which is using this module. It was the first time we incorporated it into a live site and it was really very straightforward to install and wonderful to work with. The documentation was quite thorough and well, we just love it! I want to figure out someway to use it on a site or two of our own.
Thanks for this one, solspace!

I am sure that I have mentioned this somewhere along the line, but in case I haven’t, or for the newcomers, we are Mozilla users here at emtwo. We use the Firefox browser and the Thunderbird mail application. And we love both of them for too many reasons to list.
One of my favorite things about about both of these applications is the ability to personally customize each one. There are tons of extensions and plugins you can add-on. Also, there are a ton of custom themes for both. I like to change the themes every few months. It makes me feel like my handy-dandy application is brand spanking new. So, today I changed Thunderbird’s theme to Cross Over and Firefox to Baby Blue.
It’s the little things.

Happy New Year!!!
I hope everyone’s holiday season was wonderful and filled with good times, good people and good food. We had a really lovely quiet Christmas...which is just how we like it. New Years was filled with gambling, lots of adult beverages and tons of people. We headed down to Atlantic City for a comedy show on New Years Eve, which was a whole lot of fun. Dealing with thousands of drunk people after midnight was not, but we managed and got through it all unscathed. And now we are done partying, we’ve recuperated nicely and we’re back to working our little fingers off.
If you have sent in an inquiry over the holiday week, expect to hear from us in the next day or so. And if you are still looking for a developer for your site, please contact us as soon as possible. We have a very limited amount of spots available for the first quarter of 2007 and they tend to fill up quickly. Thank you again for all your support and I hope 2007 is a great year for all of us!!

There was a slight issue with the contact form earlier today. But have no fear, everything is in order now, so please feel free to resubmit your inquiry.
Thanks!
